Default DIY Clock spring / spiral cable replacement

My horn stopped working and I was told it was the spiral cable. I checked out a video on YouTube and it looks easy to do. Has anyone here done it and is really as easy as it looks?

Also can you recommend a site to purchase the part from?

Thank you

The part is available from a host of sources. Do an internet search on "2007 Camry horn clock spring."

One issue is the airbag needs to be disconnected. Make sure you understand the precautions for doing this.

One being disconnecting the battery for at least 90 seconds before starting work. Another being do not connect the battery again until the air bag wiring is reconnected.

Airbag wiring is typically yellow in color.

Check Horn fuse and horn relay for problems.

It is straight forward enough but have some documentation or such for reference.
