Suggest caution.

The 4 cylinder 2AZ-FE engine had problems with excess oil burning. The problem typically showed up after the warranty had expired.

The engine had problems with head bolts pulling out of the block (a design problem).

Not all engine had these problems but enough that the internet has lots of posts on both problems as does this site.

If the problem occurs after warranty the owner is usual out of luck for support by Toyota. Toyota also states burning 1.2 quarts per 1000 miles is now normal. If the engine is using 1.3 quarts/1000 miles Toyota will not fix the engine under warranty.

Repairs for both problem are very expensive!!!

Somewhere the model year Toyota improved the engine design with a better block, pistons and rings. Which year this took place don't know. Might check at the Toyotanation website.

The 07 also had the worst rep of this generation of Camry for quality and repair issues.

Might stay away from this year of car and the 4 cylinder.
