Hello all. Vibration issue

I recently bought a 2008 Camry and I love it but I have a minor vibration at 40 Miles per hour. The dealer says it is ok but I am not convinced yet Has any one else have this problem?

The vibration basically only happens at 40 if I go faster 42 and higher I never feel it again same goes if I slow down 38 mph or slower the vibration is gone. I am trying to figure out if this is a normal issue.

Andry's line of questions are good. Does it happen when you are on the gas or coasting? cv joint will commonly vibrate under power, at a specific speed, when they are worn. I had a simular issue on my car at 65 mph and ended up repaking the outside of the cv joint and it was gone. I tried EVERYTHING before that.

RE: Hello all. Vibration issue

Hi,
The car is new. So I would look at tires. Not balanced tires/wheels will vibrate at about 60mph. However a damaged tire flank (due to a shock) can vibrate at a lower speed. The point is that you can not see the defect while balancing the tire as it must be loaded to vibrate.
Otherwise it's a bearing/cv joint defect.
