Just got the 2008 camry le with the v6 and six speed transmission in black with a moon roof . so far this car is awesome i have not exceeded 3500 rpm and i can tell you already this car is a beast. i had the 2000 cadillac dts and this camry is a lot quieter and has comparable power to the 300 hp northstar v8. only factors are this vehicle is more quiet during acceleration and has better gas range. i wonder who would win in a race the cadi dts or camry. i would imagine it would be real close. My other car is a 1993 honda accord lx, i am using it as a winter car and car to save mileage on camry. also it is fun to drive because its manual. anyone getting a new camry i would recommend getting the v6 option because it makes it a lot more fun to drive.

actually yeah i think the cam and the caddy would be in dead heat. it really depends on who gets most initial traction better, and who has the least rolling resistance after launch.
