Hi from LA
 

Hey guys I'm new here and joined up to see if I could get your opinions about the new 09 camry. I've been looking at getting a new camry for a while now and I was torn over whether I should get an 08 or an 09. I haven't heard anything much about the 09 so I was hoping maybe someone could give me a rundown on their experience with theirs or a freinds or maybe any things you've heard through the grapevine. I figured this would be a good place to ask.

Also, this is kind of a tangent but does anyone know a good toyota dealership in LA. I just moved in a few months ago from NorCal and I don't know much about the local market. A buddy at work suggested I go to http://hollywoodtoyota.com/ but i was hoping maybe the guys who know cars could point me in the right direction.

Welcome to CF!

Thought the 09 was very similar or the same as the 08. The 2010 was supposed to have major changes.

Price would be the major factor. If buying an 08 the car is no longer the latest model offered, would make sure the selling price is adjusted downward accordingly.

Make sure the dealer does not try to sell you an 08 as a 09, this has happened.

Hi and welcome to CF. Toyomoho is correct once again. Almost identical from '08 to '09. I purchased an '09 4 cylander LE, as there were no '08's left. It's a great car, comfortable with more than adequate power and very good gas mileage. You will be happy. Sorry... Can't help with the dealership. Good luck.
