Default I smell burning

I own a 93 Toyota Camry tonight I smell something burning coming through the vents when I turn the heat on. I checked under the hood and I still smelled the burning a little. I could not locate where it was coming from. I added more coolant to the resevior as it was low.
I just had an oil change about a month ago. I checked the oil but i had been driving for the night . so I will check it in the morning again when the car is completely cooled off.
Is there anything else that I could be over looking?

it smells like fire. It maybe oil though. I do remember the last time I went to my mechanic he said that it would soon be time for me to shange my timing belt seals. Do you think that this could be the problem? Should I change those immediately?

The crank and camshaft plus oil pump have seals to prevent oil from leaking out. But even with a good size leak the oil would just run down the engine and not burn.

Determine if oil is leaking onto the exhaust pipe from the valve cover gasket, either from the front or back of the engine.
