Default Lights in dashboard

Have a 1990 Camry 4 cylinder, the break, charge and lights light come on when I start the car and afterit is warmed-up. Bought a rebuilt Alternater and this did not fix the problem. When the vehicle is cold, like at start-up, the lights are off, but after it warms up, they come on. Hopefully, someone has a fix for this condition. Thanks for reading this article and your help will be gratefully appreciated.

One thing more, when the lights are on, removing the negative connection to the battery kills the engine and as stated above, when it is cold and running and removing the terminal connection does not kill the engine.

Hello christina to be honest that combination of lights usually indicates that the altenator is bad how ever if you have replaced that perhaps you may want to look at the voltage regulator if your model has one. Either way your issue is likly related to the charging system.

Thank you for your input. Will look into the Regulator possibility.
