New to the Camry Nation
Hello all. I should be picking up my new daily driver on Thrusday. It's a 1997 Camry CE with a V-6 and a five speed manual transmission. Didn't even know they made them like that. Is 200,000 miles too much to expect? The car has about 130,000 on it now and I am hoping to keep it awhile.

With proper maintenance the car should reach 200Kand beyond.
After you pick up the car make sure all fluids are changed including trans, PS and brake. Use a suction device (modified turkey baster) to remove as much PS fluid as possible and replace with new. Repeat this process between drives until the fluid is clear again. The brakes can be bleed with new fluid. |

It's a bit rough but it's just a daily driver. https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3315...4d69dd4ae7.jpg The Family Truckster. https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3317...78124236a2.jpg Why I had to get the Camry. |
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new wheels.:)

Thanks, I got to drive it four times and now it is buried under a mountain of snow that is almost as tall as I am.
I also got a spam private message from Valerywag already. I'm living large. |
