New Camry owner steps in
 

Hi! As of a few hours ago, I'm the proud owner of a silver 2007 XLE V6. I just signed the paperwork this afternoon, and tomorrow I'll pick up the car. Photos, of course, are mandatory and will follow soon.

It has just 22,000 miles. The original owner drove the car less than 6,000 miles per year during their almost 4 years of ownership, and they kept the car garaged and immaculate. I understand the obligations this imposes on me, and I fully intend to maintain that tradition. Right now I'm diving into the the owner's manual in an effort to get a head start on all the controls and displays. What helps is that we already own a 2008 Prius, and many of the controls are similar.

I needed to get a car with better fuel efficiency than the pickup truck I was using as a daily driver. I was horrified to calculate on Friday that I was spending almost $450 per month on gasoline. I'll spend a lot less every month and spend my time driving a much nicer vehicle.

My new Camry may be silver, but you can color me happy!
