New Here
Greetings!
My name is Joe and I just bought a 1990 Camry DLX sedan with 178,600 miles. I got it for $350 via craigslist, advertised with a bad starter, running poorly and needing a new battery. When I got it home, I properly charged the battery (which does not need replacement,) changed out the plugs, wires, cap and rotor and cleaned the throttle body (runs beautifully) and replaced the starter. I have never before replaced a starter in 20 minutes! The body is pretty messed up with poorly-attempted bodywork and it needs tires, but I've already driven it 100 miles and it has been good to me so far.
First thing I plan to do after tires is replace the speakers and stereo head. It is still all OEM. Hopefully I can make something bigger than 5.25" drivers fit in the rear.
