Newbie with '00 Camry

Hey all! My wife drives a '00 Camry LE with a 2.2L. The car has 199,9xx miles on it right now and drives great! Love this car and the dependability of it. It's nothing special, just her DD. It's throwing a P0401 code and I've already done some replacing with no success, so I'll be searching for the answer to that problem. Look forward to browsing the site. Oh, I'm from eastern NC

What parts have been changed?

Hi, to fix the code P0401 on a Toyota Camry you will need to buy : EGR VSV (Vacuum Switch Valve) part# 90910-12080 to get rid of the P0401 code Located behind engine. Around $50 bucks. You might also need to replace the EGR Vacuum Modulator part# 25870-74090 if the P0401 code comes back. You can pop the hood and replace that by hand, it's easy. Around $60 bucks.

I have a thread started in the General Tech section with the problem I'm having. Not to clutter things up too bad, but I have replaced the EGR and what I thought was the VSV for the EGR system as well. Come to find out, I must have replaced the wrong VSV switch. I better explained it in the General Tech section. Thanks everyone for the welcome!

that would have been crucial, you made a wrong move on that.
