outside temperture sensor

outside temperture sensor
Hey everyone. I'm hoping someone here can help me with my issue. I recently bought a used 03 Camry LE 2.4, 4cyl,with 90K. I noticed next to the clock display there are 2 dashes. I've learned this is where the outside temperture is displayed. However, I don't know the part name/# and if this is something I can install myself. I am told the sensor is located/mounted on the drivers side front bumper down below, between the radiator and bumper. I checked my car and there's nothing there. Any suggestions?

The location appears about half way between the center of the car and the drivers side.
If you look down at the 2 lower LH and RH fog lights and draw a radius between them that follows the curve of the bumper. The sensor appears to be on this line.

Joey, I dont know what the sensor looks like but I did some thorough checking and it doesnt appear that the sensor is anywhere. I've checked the entire area. There are two exposed wires that are not connected to anything that i did find. I'm wondering if these wires were once connected to the sensor. Is there a part name or # for this sensor? My local Toyota dealer can't find the part by my description. Again, thanks for all the help.

Sorry, can't help here.
Might try the Toyotanation website.
The sensor is most like a semiconductor called a thermistor. See link below:

The shop manual shows nothing.
Maybe the intake air temp sensor on the air cleaner box is similar.
