Overly sensitive throttle on '07 Camry 4 cylinder...

Hi all. I just bought a really nice 2007 Camry LE 4-cylinder a couple of weeks ago, with 140k miles on it. It runs like a new car, except for one thing: the throttle is so sensitive that it's nearly impossible to get away from a stop smoothly. Once I'm under way, it's fine. When the roads are dry and/or if there's nothing in front of me, it's a minor annoyance, but in those two cases, it could lead to damage to my car and possibly other things. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know of a way to fix it?

The throttle system is electric using a motor to move the throttle valve. There are no adjustments. The engine computer runs the show.

Lots of threads on the internet about the throttle being too sensitive but as stated it can;t be changed. There are suggestions however on changing ones driving habits.

Search the internet for "Camry electronic throttle too sensitive".
