Recently discovered that the Rubber Air intake hose part No. 17881-74390 develop a crack due to hardening of the rubber resulting in a hissing sound while idling., local spare parts outlets appears to have run out of stock and would appreciate any leads from car owners of this make& models assistance of where to obtain replacements asap TQ

Cracking where the hose connects to the throttle body?

Amazon, Ebay, etc list the part by P/N. Search net by part number. Ebay seems cheapest. If you need the part fast, elect one next day shipping from whomever you buy the part from.

In the mean time wrap the hose with electrical tape or other to seal of the crack.

Really appreciate the. Reply towards my predicament and did check on ebay earlier on however the items then were sold out ., invariably manage to source domestically and at a much cheaper pricing. It is a pity parts are gooing extinct as the car actually is pretty much efficient, comfortable, quiet, superb road holding minus the airbags/ led/neon fittings that comes with current model - Thanks once again for taking the time to response to my predicament😀👍

Older Camry are still popular. There are many web based part sellers that supply parts but Ebay and Amazon tend to be cheaper if available.

The 1996 is solid car, in one of the best generations of Camry Toyota offered.
