2005 v6 camry power steering leak so I took of the the gravity feed line from bottle thinking it was the banjo bolt which I undid then twigged uit was the not that line so undid the gravity/suction line and replaced when I started putting it back together found a a small round hollow tube on ground not sure which end it came from so put it on bottom suction hose, and pump squals a bit now or is it a spacer in the banjon bolt.
Many Thanks for help on this.

Doesn't suction hose just push onto reservoir? You then installed the tube inside the suction hose?

Yes and the power squualed a bit and I removed that piece, could it be from the other end as a spacer around the banjo bolt line end, both ends were off together.

Determine if the spacer is part of some clamp holding system for a power steering hose.

Turn steering wheel stop to stop to bleed air from the system.
