Default Question about buying an early 90s Camry

Hello everyone. I hope it's okay to post a question in the new members section about buying a Camry.

I wasn't sure where else to post this but this seems like a good place as any or is even the most appropriate. ???

I am looking for a car since my 90 Civic is in bad shape. I am considering an early 90s Accord, early 90s Maxima and early 90s Camry. I am hoping to get input about the early 90s Camry here. I am mostly finding 92-94 Camrys so far in my area. I like the 92+ Camrys so I am hoping to get info and opinions about cars '92 on.

Could someone tell me what to keep in mind when shopping for a 92-94 Camry that might be particular to this car? I googled and looked at reviews and it seems the transmission has to be inspected in particular. Also, are coolant leaks into the engine a particular problem? Other than standard maintenance and avoiding serious issues that can effect any old car, I don't know of any other problems that are overly common on old Camrys. I also want a V6 as the I4 in the Civic is not enough hp. I found a couple of 5 spds but they are not as common as autos for that year range, right?

If anyone can give me any suggestions, advice or additional info to keep in mind about 92-94 Camrys (i.e. what to look for etc.) or just wish to offer your opinion and feedback, it is appreciated. Thanks.
