Rain cancels Bell South
 

Torrential rain flooded the TaylorMade R9 Irons Sugarloaf Course in Duluth, Georgia yesterday as the Bell South Classic organisers sent everyone home and the tournament was abandoned after 54 holes due to an unplayable course.
But Phil Mickelson and Callaway X 24 Hot Irons Gary Nicklaus stayed behind to decide who gets the bigger cheque, playing off over one hole, the 16th. And Mickelson would prove to be the villain for Nicklaus fans as he beat the Junior Golden Bear with a birdie two in the playoff.
"Honma BERES MG802 Irons would have been nice for him to break through," Mickelson said. "But I didn't want it to be at my expense."
Mickelson, Taylormade 2009 Tour Preferred Irons hitting first, put his 9-iron from 163 yards about 18 feet left of the hole. Nicklaus selected an 8-iron, but caught it just a little heavy. The Golf Clubs was headed right for the flag until it came up short in the bunker, about 4 inches away from a lip that was 10 inches high, giving him virtually no shot.

I am not so much of a golf player but some times i do play.Its nice to know the details about the golf club.
