Replacing rear motor mount on a 1999 Toyota Camry 4 Cylinder
Has anyone successfully replaced rear motor mount. I have the factory service manual and they make it look like you almost have to remove the engine. if so could I get some help, please with important information as to how you did it.

The rear of the engine will need to be raised high enough for the rear mount studs to clear their holes. The upper dog bone mount will need to be removed. The top nut on the front mount removed or loosened as much as possible.
Safely raise and support the car to get under it. Use a series of drive extensions and long bar to remove the top nut on the rear mount. Have a helper aid in placing the socket end on the nut from under the car. Remove lower rear mount bolts. Raise rear of engine high enough to have rear mount studs clear there holes. |
