Seat Belt Buzzer
 

Please tell me how to turn off that annoying seat belt buzzer! I wear my seat belt when I'm driving, but I don't want to have to put it back on after I get the mail from the box at the end of my driveway.

I spoke to my dealer yesterday. At first, I was told the dealership cannot turn it off as it is a safety issue. I asked to speak to the manager. He did some research, then called me back and said it changed with the 2007 Camry and they are allowed to turn off the buzzer. I'll be making an appointment this week. [sm=happy046.gif]

Make sure and let us know what they do.
I wouldn't mind doing that to my 2007 LE as well.

The service manager said for me to plan on leavingmy carwith them all day as they have not turned off the buzzer on one yet and they would probably have to calla tech to tell them how to do it. I'll find out as much as I can and let everyone know.

In past vehicles I've owned (2 Supras, Tacoma, Corolla, Acura Integra, etc...) I've had success by just unplugging the seat belt sensor wire under the driver's seat. I haven't attempted this on my 07 Camry yet... just haven't had the time to stick my hand under there.

Anybody tried this with their 07?
