Default Transmission

I Just got a 2007 camry and I'm very happywith it. After all, this is my 5th Camry!!
But I noticed the transmissionis kind of rough especially 1st to 2nd.I asked the Service manager
at the dealer where I boughtmy car and he said that it was normal.According to him, the car has
a transmission that adapts to your driving habits and that it will take about 5,000 milesplus to adjust
tomy driving habits.

Did anyone experience this?

Happy Driving...

if you have a v6 model, it could be a model that falls under the recall for it's transmissions failing in 2nd and 6th gears.
Give your toyota dealer a call and ask if you're specific car is affected. If you've bought it in this year 2007, i dont think you should have that problem.
Hopefully it'll just adapt.

If you're car is having that problem, it wont run well, but it wont totally die on you.
