I like this guy but i dont know if i should text him first?

there's a guy that i like and he already knows i like him because i told him. so he suggested we hang out and i invited him over to my house and then we talked about the time and got off topic. i was the last one to text him and say goodbye so idk if he's still down. should i text him first and ask him if he's still coming over or is that annoying?
