P0500 and U0100 Toyota Camry 2010
 

Hello Experts,
Please help me for my issues with Toyota Camry 2010.

I bought one used Camry 2010 (24000 mile on it), after driving 10 miles I got check engine code P0500 (Vehicle Speed Sensor 'A'), I deleted that code and again I got U0100 (Lost Communication With Engine Control Module), Speedometer is working fine, Transmission is working fine but facing below issue.

1. Some time it car start some time not
2. While driving getting Traction Off light on

Please help me what should I do now.

Speed sensors can be finicky and cause weird stuff to happen. If the speed sensor is bade or the connection isn't good it will turn off the traction control because it cannot determine slip, etc. I would check the sensors.

How to test speed sensor, front speed sensor I can find near to front tire (both), but I don't know the rear speed sensor, please help me with below concern.

1. How to test speed sensor, now P0500 code is not coming, only U0100 code is coming.
2. Do you have diagram for Speed sensor for front and back wheel.

I would check all connections to the PCM. I did some digging and people were having shorts that caused this. Start checking wires, it's time consuming but cheap. Other alternatives that I found were bad ECM, let's hope it's not that. Your car is pretty new so I doubt the ECM is bad.
