1985 Toyota Camry for parts (running)
 

I have a 1985 Toyota Camry for sale for parts. The engine is pretty much dead. It starts and runs but has bad compression in 3 cylinders.

The trans is an auto and seems to work fine. I had been driving it everywhere, over 3000mi round trip from CT to AR several times a year. With the auto it got 36mi/gal on those trips

Still no smoke with the bad compression. 3 cyl avg 110lb 4th 190lb

The 6 month old alternator shorted and I don't have receipts to replace :mad:

It has (had) a new battery but now lots of hard use with the bad alt

New brakes, new shocks and struts
new lower control arms new anti-sway bar bushings. Basically all the rubber in the front end.

This following board is bad.

My mechanic bypassed it with some resistors to get the car to run to drive it home.

The glass is good. The doors are good the windows regulators are good

someone want to give me $300 for it. The trans alone is worth $500
