A little late to come back to the party but, my accord is a 2003 EX V6, and I like it much better than the wifes 08 camry XLE V6. Not that I condone street racing but, my car kills the camry.

Toyo your wrong in the 89 the distributor can move to retard the timing. I've done this at least three times with my own 89 when I owned it.

AHHHH please dont do this with 2 dollar bulbs from advance auto parts/auto zone/ napa etc. Use high quality lights or you will regret it in the long run. They are pretty easy to change you just rmove...

Adjusting your ignition timing can correct about two teeth and should correct your issue. If you need to move the belt a couple of teeth you can attempt to do it with just the top cover off I reacall...

If i remember correctly I just a breaker bar with the prober sized socket and used a piece of pipe for leverage. I was a pain in the a$$ and I'm a big dude (6'5" 320) but, eventually it came lose!

Lenght shold be the same. Should install okay as long as the pipeing is the same diamater. Also, just becase it's made for a six and you have a four doesn't mean that it will be quiter on your car...
