Android 10.1 radio install

New to forum, looking for some tech support. I have a 2013 Toyota Camry w/out the JBL system. Recently installed 10.1” Android (Chinese) head unit…they’re all over Amazon and pretty cheap considering all their features.

The specs boast 4 output channels, but there’s only a FR and FL RCA output that seem to be overlapped, making it 2 output channels. Meaning, when connected to an external amplifier, I get sound from all 4 speakers even though I’m only connected to 2 channels on the amp. This prevents any tuning of the front or rear speakers independently.

I tried line out spliced to rear speakers and ran RCAs, but that created too much interference and really made the speakers sound crappy.

I’ve researched all the interwebs and the only pin out for the android radio I found was for a Tacoma, but their solution didn’t work for me…looking for someone that may have overcome this issue and found the location to pin the rear RCAs in the radio??? Thanks

The unit does not have some kind of ganged wiring plug as in for a wiring harness similar to the stock radio plug.

It does have all the appropriate connectors for the stock set up.

If the unit specifications state it has 4 speaker outputs suspect the front and REAR speaker unit outputs may be mixed in with the wiring harness plug. The RCA outputs would be to tap into an existing amp such as with the JBL system without needing a line converter.

Is your amp a 4 signal input device and if so what type of connections? The RCA connections may route the signal to both front and back speakers. There may be wiring terminals on the amp for the individual unit signal input and individual speaker output..

The unit should have the wiring diagram (obviously) which show the speaker wiring, These units typically come with a plug that attaches to the unit having about 1 foot of colored wiring.
Find each speaker signal output. If the amp doesn't have individual signal inputs you need one that does.
