04 strut replacement

Hey folks looking to replace my shocks and wanted to get some suggestions. The car will be daily driven in the city mainly. Car has about 125k. I was hoping to inject some "sportyness". Anyway thank you in advance much appreciated.

Not sure this is possible with just struts assuming you can find something that is not built to stock specs.

Suggest going to various websites such Summit Racing, Autohause and whatever else you can find for performance parts. Then call them to determine if there is a performance strut for your car.

If you want a start on gaining a sport suspension might look at with something like this, coil overs:

Ksport Coilovers - Kontrol Pro System - Import Replacement Parts

Take note, stiffer struts (and springs) will result in a feeling more bumps and potholes.

When your tires wear out, replacement with performance tires can make a big difference but typically the down side is they wear out sooner.

Strut Repacement

I'm also about to replace my front and rear struts and I live i NYC.

I was going to KYB Strut-Plus Spring & Strut Assembly.

There is a little rattling on the front end and I wanted to also change all the bushings.

Can you tell me which ones to get? Which brand and which ones or normally replaced when they are changed.

Also, do you recommend changing anything else while I have the tires off to make it ride smooth and handle well.

Thank you!!

Which bushings to get? Most owners just use what is available. Try online auto parts sites.

Check if sway bar bushings are the cause of the rattle. Typically this is when going over bumps.

Bushing are not usually replaced unless bad. When the tires are off check the lower arm bushings were they attach to the chassis. The sway bar stabilizer connecting link for excess play.
