18" wheels/tires versus stock SE wheels/tires
I am getting the 2007 SE in about a month.
I plan on replacing the wheels and tires immediately after... What size tires should I be using to keep the overall diameter the same as the stock 17" wheel + 215/55/r17 combo? The new wheels will most likely be 18x7.5 so I would assume that the tire should be something like 225/45/r18 ? Or should I be using 225/40/r18 ? Thanks guys. Khanh |
RE: 18" wheels/tires versus stock SE wheels/tires
There is alot info on tires/rims in the forum before this one. I believe it is titled "2007 Camry 18's Please".

usually bigger wheels and tires negitivly affect your gas mileage and improve handling. So keep this in mind.

RE: 18" wheels/tires versus stock SE wheels/tires
ORIGINAL: lavalleemike usually bigger wheels and tires negitivly affect your gas mileage This is why I would like to get a tire that would fit on a 18x7.5 or 18x8 wheel that would give roughly the same size as the stock wheel/tire combo... Regards, Khanh |
