18" wheels/tires versus stock SE wheels/tires

I am getting the 2007 SE in about a month.

I plan on replacing the wheels and tires immediately after...

What size tires should I be using to keep the overall diameter the same as the stock 17" wheel + 215/55/r17 combo?

The new wheels will most likely be 18x7.5 so I would assume that the tire should be something like 225/45/r18 ? Or should I be using 225/40/r18 ?

Thanks guys.

There is alot info on tires/rims in the forum before this one. I believe it is titled "2007 Camry 18's Please".

usually bigger wheels and tires negitivly affect your gas mileage and improve handling. So keep this in mind.

Would this still hold true of the size of the new wheel/tire combo was the same size as stock?

This is why I would like to get a tire that would fit on a 18x7.5 or 18x8 wheel that would give roughly the same size as the stock wheel/tire combo...
