2007 camry brake problem after bearing replacement

I recently replaced the passenger side wheel bearing on my car. After re-installing everything I found that the rotor now rubs on the the main break holder. what could be causing this to happen.. Thanks for any and all info.

Front or rear brake?

What is brake holder, the assy that holds the pads?

Its the front . This isn't mine but a pic of what I am talking about... http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/T...-Guide-014.JPG

Did you or a shop replace the bearing?

Exactly where is the rotor rubbing on the holder?

The part held in the photo is the holder. The pads sandwich the rotor making it impossible to rub on the holder. The holder and axle should be positioned so the holder and move laterally and rub.

Is the rotor rubbing on the brake dust cover? This is a thin metal plate on the engine side of the rotor shielding the inner rotor face less where the holder is mounted. If the cover is rubbing, just bend it away from the rotor as required.

I did the bearing myself. It is rubbing on the holder on the engine side of the rotor. I'm wondering if maybe I may have bent the ears trying to press out the bearing. Cause at first I had no Idea what the heck I was doing. I hope I dont have to buy a whole new steering knuckle.....

Bending ears would take a lot of force.

Was the bearing fully pressed into the knuckle?

Might measure the distance between the hub and knuckle (spacing as in how far the hub extends out) at locations of your choice and compare to the other side.

Ok I bought a steering knuckle off Ebay. I messed up and got one that fits a 2007 camry LE V6. I have a 4 cylinder. The spline in the hub is bigger than the spline on the axle. can the hub off my old one be put into this one or will that not fit. everything else on it is the same..
