2012 V6 Spare Size?
I had a rim blow on my 2012 Camry V6 so I needed to replace the rim and while I was at it, I replaced the tire as well. I got the car back a week ago and just realized the place never put the spare back in the trunk. I went to the place and the guy gave me the spare but it doesn't look like the same one. Can anyone tell me the size/make of the spare? I called Toyota and they can't give me the size on the side, like T155/90 D16. Thanks....Slim

Was this the original spare tire that you changed?
The Camry is listed as having a convenience spare also called compact spare. The T155/90 D16 is such as tire made by Goodyear. See link: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/BigPic...tnum=59MD6CSV2 Standard tires are P205/65R16. |
It was the original spare that came with the car. I just spoke to somebody at Toyota and they said the size is T155/70D17 but I'm not sure if they were referring to the regular Camry. Mine has the 18" tires. The size I listed was the one the tire place gave me a week later. I went to Tire Rack and put in the T155/90D16 and it says it doesn't fit my car. Very weird. It looks the same size when I put it next to my tire.

There also seems to be a T155/80R17 compact spare which was used with Sienna having 18 inch tires.
T145/80D18 is another spare but not sure if used for Toyota. |
