Blinking TPMS light
2007 Camry CE. 18 months ago solid light indicating problem with one of the sensors. Taking to shop they found two monitors no longer sending signal so they were replaced and system reset and no light. 3 months ago light did blinking for 1 minute then came on solid. Let it go and then recently when at garage they found another sensor not sending and replaced but they could not reset the light and said it would have to be done at dealer.
Anyone had a similar issue and had any tricks that worked so that light could be reset without going to dealer or if having to go to dealer what it cost to resync monitor system? |
Did the shop try to reset the system and failed? Or did they state they did not know how to reset it?
Look on left side of glove box for a hidden button. If there post back. |
The shop tried to reset the light and they and I am familiar with the reset button by the glove box left side. Their and my attempt to reset failed and they indicated it would have to be done by the dealer.

Blinking for 1 minute followed by a steady light is indicating the system has a failure.
The TPMS computer needs to be accessed for a trouble code(s). An ODBII scanner can accomplish this if it having software for TPMS. |
