Brake hardware

Hey All,

05 Camry LE. Should there be drag reduction clips on front and rear pads or just the front?

Also are any aftermarket boots for the pins better than another manufacturer or do I need to go back with OEM types?

Not sure it matters on clips. Both front and back seem to be better but the brakes will be OK either way.

So are you saying the drag reduction clips are on both front and rear pads?

The 2005 may not have factory clips.

After market boots should be OK. Grease the pins.

Thanks for the response..

Looks like some might have them....I'm seeing them on websites...GM makes one set and Raybestos does too....there are others but those are the only 2 names I recognized.

Thanks for the confirmation on the boots....I figures aftermarket would work but you never know until you try them or find someone that has used them....They're not expensive but didn't want a set that started leaking or disintegrating....

While some aftermarket boots may be suitable, using OEM boots for the pins is advisable to ensure compatibility and maintain original performance.
