Brake Problem
So i just changed the front breaks on my camry and am now having problems. The outside pad on both tires is now rubbing the routers and not releasing like they should. I have narrowed the problem down to the metal sleeves that the calipers slide on. They seem to be seized in place not allowing the caliper to slide. Any suggestions on how to free them up would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Brake Problem
they mit need to be cleaned out and reapply some syliglide...if the pins don't slide back and forth freely..then you mit need some new calipers...

RE: Brake Problem
you got to make sure you dont have a sticky calliper piston vs messed up brake pad brackets. are you certain that not both pads continue to drag, and that its only the outter pad that keeps draging?

RE: Brake Problem
It is just the outter pad that is rubbing. Just one of the pins is seized not allowing the caliper to slide freely on the bolts like it should normally do. So cleaning it is out right now until i can get it free. And it is doing this on both the left and the front tires. When the brakes are applied since only the top pin is seized and the bottom moves freely the calipers are then twisted which puts more uneven wear on everything.
