front end help!

I purchased a 94 camry LE, the 2 door coupe, and had a few questions. The engine runs really well and has alot of power, (4 cam, 24 valve V6.) But it has some trouble getting it to the ground. Or atleast thats what I've been told since this car has almost no take off ability.

I was just wondering, what are some good front end mods to improve this problem? Im not working with much money right now so the cheaper I can get this done the better.

Much Thanks.

you mean from a stop when you floor it, you cant spin your tires?

cleaning your throttle body helps a too.

If you know where your transmission cable is located, below it or beside it should be another cable - your transmission cable. if you adjust the cable to make it more taught, it forces your car to shift faster, but you'll sacrafice ride comfort for performance.

Wow. Okay thanks. Another question though; Would doing this have any adverse effects on the car itself? The engine has over 120,000 miles on it and I defenately cant afford to have to rebuild it if I blow it.

throttle body cleaning? you can do that at anytime.
if you've read around some forums about seafoam, that stuff could potentially hurt the engine.

I would like to point youo to www.toyotanation.com
its one of the best sites for help with toyotas, esp, camry's.

stuff was originally posted on toyotanation but it was compiled here.
Supposedly it prodlongs the life of the transmission because it engages the clutch faster leaving less time in between gears for it to heat up.
if you've driven a manual, you know its bad to hold the cluch half down for a long time. i also PMed the orignal poster TOYSRME and he says that its better for the tranny but will put more stress on engine mounts.

i honestly couldnt tell you. but its rare to find the v6 5sp tranny, and most people will tell you its not worth the cost, but they will say its a good learning experience.
