Long story short. Couple years ago a small school bus
Went to an open parking spot and the rear bumper held on to
My rim and crushed it. So i had toyota do all the work had rack n pinion axles suspension replaced.

Since then when i turn left all the way
It rubs but when i go right it doesnt even if i have stock 15's

And when i hit a dip the right side would scrape and the left side
Wont.

The whole time i believe its cuz the accident

So what do you guys think did toyota put garbage oem parts in my
Car or am i right that accident changed the way it drives even with the new parts

Should i change some of the parts

Was the frame checked for damage?

Is the steering wheel centered when the car drives straight ahead?

Where does the tire rub?

Have you taken the car to an alignment shop?

The tires are the same spec as listed in the owners manual.

Does the sit level and at the correct height?

Turn the steering wheel full left and right and determine if the left and right tire locations are always a mirror of the other.

Unless something very strange the dealer would only use Toyota parts which are top notch.

Yes the steering wheel drives straight.
The has has been aligned countless of times

I have the stranges thing. I have a new set if wheels and tires
Like i said in my other thread. Of course i ended up with a 22/50/17
I notice something a little odd

The right side the tire sticks out a little more than the left
Maybe thats what makes it rub on the left side.
Ill double check this cuz i eas losing sun light when i noticed it
I may need to get this checked

What do u think could this be frame damage

Note any differences in the vertical angle of each tire. One tire may be at a greater angle then the other and causing the bottom or top of the tire to stick out more then the other side.

If possible to remove both front tires and compare the suspension on the side that was damaged with the other. Check where the lower suspension arm and upper strut attach to the frame plus take some measurements of where the hub is compared to the chassis. The hub is where the rim mounts having the lug bolts. Determine if one side is extending out more then the other.

Also check each rims offset and compare. A internet search on the words "rim offset" will describe what this is.
