There is quite a bit of variation on the tire pressure on my new 2018 Camry. The sticker on the door say's 35 PSI. The tire is marked 51 PSI MAX. I'm thinking of running them at right around 40 PSI. That is a bit lower than the middle of the range. I like a firmer ride, and I believe a bit higher pressure will result in both better fuel and tire mileage. These are the lower profile tires that come standard with the SE trim package. So they don't hold a high volume of air to begin with. By running them a bit harder will give them more to bleed off without becoming under inflated. Also, out here in Phoenix in the Summer the higher pressure contributes to less sidewall flex, which results in slightly lower operating temperatures. What do you guys run yours at?

 

For cars stick to what's on the door, sometimes a little higher if the sticker tire pressure seems too low. Manufacturers can specify a lower tire pressure for ride comfort.

I should add that I haven't checked my tire pressure since we bought the vehicle back in mid March. When I finally did the other day all 4 tires were at 38 PSI. So based on that I'm assuming they most likely let the car go with 40 PSI. And in the last 2 months they bled off a couple of pounds. So I brought them up to 41 PSI. I couldn't notice much, if any difference in the way the car drives or handles. So that's where I'll run them from now on. I'll keep an eye on tread wear to make sure it's even across the tread pattern. But at 41 PSI it rides great, and I'm sure the excellent fuel economy will continue. Even on relatively short trips of 15 to 20 minutes, I'm averaging around 40+ MPG. So I can't complain.
