suspinsion rattles

why does my suspinsion rattle? sounds like a large bird banging very quickly underneath the right front fender. could that be a bushing? mechanic says he not hear anything. I think he is crazy. Toyota dealership charges too much. be there an done that. any suggestions?

Model year and other information would be great! Generally, older Camry's tend to rattle do to worn upper strut mounts/supports and or worn swaybar links.

suspinsion rattle

thanks joel, I appreciate it. its a 1994 camry. still runs great. 186,000 miles. However, there is some compression with the struts when going over a bump but a lot of rattle with them. the new struts I put on four years ago only have 15,000 miles on them. Maybe they not replace the strut supports or mounts. I no the car is old but theoretically if I relace all the mounts and supports like you say it should ride like a new car. I'll talk with my mechanic on your advice. thanks again.

New Struts

I had the same problem with my 99 Camry. 160k miles. I purchased some Monroe quick struts online for about $160 each. Made a big difference. Feels like it only has 50k on it again!
