Default tire air pressure light

Hi, recently i put my 18's on my car. After doing so, the tire airpressure light came on. I made sure my air pressure is at the correct psi for the tires, but the light is still on. does anybody know why the light is still on? thanks

Did you change over the pressure sensor to the new rims/tires?

Have you tried to reset the system, the owners manual should state how to do this.

like the post above, I would first ask if the shop that installed your 18's switched over your TPMS. If you ordered the wheels/tires of the internet and had them shipped to you and they arrived mounted..then the answer is no. If infact you do have your Sensors changed over and you just need to reset you light, you can do this by finding the reset button by opening the glove box and its on the bottom left hand side. Hold for 3-5 secs and the light should go out. If not you need to have the sensors scanned to see if they are still transmitting. Could have been damaged during install. If you need any help let me know.
