tire distance

I have a 2012le, 2.5 and not getting satisfying distance out of my tires. Replaced with discount tires which were made for them & wear is showing with only 10k on them. Look half worn already. Is this normal for Camrys?

How are the tires wearing?

Are all four tires wearing at the same rate and in the same locations?

Are the tires being rotated and tire pressure checked?

A decent brand of tire should get at least 40K miles.

How are the tires wearing out?

ompare your tires with the ones at the link below:

Thanks for the reply.
I wonder if the Corolla does better, or Honda? Less than 40 on 60k mile tires is pretty sad as expensive as they are. Why is this?

You should get about 60K miles with a set of tires. Although I have experienced that with 2007 Camry, they came with soft rubber tires new so they only lasted 40K miles. I do not know if you bought the Camry new, but it should have lasted about 60K miles with your tire. Each tires usually come with the mileage warranty. You should find out the mileage warranty of tires you bought. Also, sometimes, the looks could be deceiving. If you want to be sure how much were you have on tires you got, you should measure the depth of tread to be sure.
