what part should I get first!?

I have a 2007 camry XLE and I want to get it ready to race on the tracks. My mechanic is saying that I should get the 19 inch Enkei RPO3 rims and the Falken tires first because tire prices will be going up. He said I should wait to get the custom aero turbine mufflers and also wait for the eibach springs. It is very hard for me to get money cuz I only work once a week and get 48 eight dollars for 8 hours. He said he will sell the rims and tires separately to me for $350 for one rim and tire together. He said the custom mufflers will coat me $500 with installation. And the springs are $400 and I dont know how much install will be. Which part do u guys recomend me getting first? Keep in mind that money is very tight for me and I am only 16 years old and work for my dad in his office, so dont say that I shouldn't be buying these parts and should be concentrating on buying groceries and paying bills cuz I dont have too. Thanks for your help in advance.

Eibach springs don't cost $400. Most 19 inch wheels and tires cost more than 17s or 18s. So with that save your money and get 17s or 18s.

Ditto. The larger the diameter of the rims, the more torque required to get that thing moving. Stick to 17's. Also, I was considering buying Falken tires but after reading a bunch of buyer reviews, I found that the Nexen tires perform better for alot cheaper (comparing the Ziex ZE-912 [falken]to the N3000 [nexen]). I just bought a whole set of 205/40/17 for $200.

thanks guys for your opinions. I was considering these wheels cuz their list price is like $540 for each and my mechanic is selling it for $240 a piece cuz they were used for about 50 miles. Thanx for the tire help too. So performance wise, is it better to get these rims at 18 or 17 inches

17s or 18s will be just fine.

just keep in mind also that the larger the diameter, the less the fuel economy.

What type of track are you racing on ? Regardless though, no reason to go bigger than 18" , if anything the 19" will slow you down . Just get some better (and wider if possible) tires ,even on the stock wheels for now, then upgrade to lighterweight rims down the road.

Any track but off road stuff. Basically any track that is smooth terrain.

Might as well get the TRD springs, they are Eibach and cost $247
