you should be able to fit 205...but be carefull some tire brandsare a little wider than others..i had 205 goodyear and i replaced then with 205 continental and the continental rubbed the rear shock so i had to go a size down....

Well according to the brand that I wanna fix (simitomo) the chart shows the following >>

Tire Size
Load Index
Design Rim Width (inch)
Rim Range (inch)
Single Max I.P. (psi)
Single Max Load (lbs)
Overall Diameter (inch)
Section Width (inch)
Tread Depth (X/32")
Static Loaded Radius (inch)
Tire Weight (lbs)

205/70R14
95H
6.00
5.0 - 7.0
51
1,521
25.4
8.2
10.0
11.4
21.2
OR

205/60R14
89H
6.00
5.5 - 7.5
51
1,279
23.8
8.0
10.0
10.7
19.2
http://www.sumitomotire.com/theline/...c=per&id=5

so I guess am going foe the 2nd type as it to be 205-60-R14

the reason I've chosen Simitomo is that it has an amazing road gripp (Traction) as I've used them on my 1990 Mustang& it stopped drifting !! even I couldn't do a complete donuts !!! also I've used them on 1986 Caprice 255-65-R15 & they performed nearly as street race tiers also on many other cars.

Thanx for the advice

60 vs 70 will give you a firmer ride with better handling, but your speedometer will be off by 1 or 2 kph

simitomo is good, but i prefer yokohama or bridgestone.

you can put any tiresyou like...but any time you alter the oem spec..like your tire size.....there will be a chance that something won't fit...i would advice you to purchase locally and not on the internet...in case something goes wrong..good luck
