2005 Camry Moonroof problem

Have been hearing excess wind with roof closed while traveling at high rate of speed on highway. Visual inspection shows passenger side of moonroof not aligning with rest of roof (lays a little lower) and I believe that is where wind is going in. Am concerned with noise but more concerned that water may eventually get into car. Is this a problem I can resolve on my own or will I need a dealer repair?
Thanks for any help.

have you seen some holes on it to make the water flow inside?I think it can only be done by experts I suggest ti ask for the dealer to repair it.

Might check at the Toyotanation website.

There seems to be a lot of issues with sun roofs. The issue is taking one apart requires some knowledge and a manual helps.

If possible open the roof and look at each side. Compare the side that closes with the other side looking for broken plastic parts, etc.

Before going to the dealer suggest trying to find a shop that installs sunroofs for repairs. Dealer repair bills on sun roof problems often result in sticker shock!

slide open the cover under the sunroof if you want to remove the glass their are 4 nuts it can be opened with t20 size "L key" 2 on the left and 2 on the right...you can see their is a long plastic cover just pull it from the front sides nd u will be able to see the hidden nuts.two other can be seen they are not hidden..

if you notice that the roof is not aligned properly from outside when u close it,you can see that the nuts inside which are not hidden can be adjusted up and down..just loose the nuts adjust it and tight it when done..note you may require some extra hands
