front bumper repair
hello all.
I have a 2004 camry with a dented (pushed in) right front bumper. I want to repair myself but have heard you need to heat up bumper with a torch before dent can be pounded out. The bumper seems pretty easy to remove, but i am nervous about the torch process. I would hate to remove the bumper and not be successful with knocking out the dent. Any help from anyone that has done this sort of repair would be appreciated. Thanks kev w |
I haven't done this one, but I don't see any problem removing it without heating it up.

Hi
I will suggest u to check out www.autopartsway.ca . |
if you don't feel comfortable using a torch, try a hairdryer. Lower heat output, less chance of overheating/burning/warping the bumper. It will take longer to heat it up but you won't have to worry as much. Another tip, if it's cold outside there, bring the car into a heated garage to help the whole bumper get warmer and more flexible.

Hey
What is www.autopartsway.ca about? |
there are lots for ways to do that. Just one to share, always water your engine to make it cool and prevent over heat.
