rear door locked
 

hi' need helpwith my 93 camry le.rear door handles are broken, and i turned the black plastic lock adjuster vertical, now i cant open the door any sugggestions appreciated

The plastic lock adjuster is the child proof lockout preventing the door from being opened from the inside.

Are the inside or outside door handles broken? If inside try to work the broken parts to unlock the door lock, then open the door from the outside.

If the car has power locks use these to unlock the door.

The inner door handle can be removed exposing two rods connected to it. The upper link is the manual lock, the lower for the remote control lock. Look at the back of the inner door handle to determine which direction to move the rod to unlock the door.
