Smoking engine compartment
I got a 94 camry v6 that i bought recently that drives great shifts wonderful handles perfect with one flaw, it smokes. I originally thought it was burning oil but after testing the oil level periodically i noticed the oil level never changed so then i thought it was thermostat so i went through all the trouble to change that annoying thing out and well it still does the same thing...i changed the oil, i changed oil filter, air filter... i am baffled. I consider myself somewhat good with cars as i have rebuilt a 91 eclipse gsx, my 91 3000ft vr4, and my 90 ranger, i love this camry and i want to get it working good, according to the thermosat it works fine and don't over heat and the fluids are always up to par so seriouly does anyone have any input? sigh... i am on the verge of giving up...

RE: Smoking engine compartment
Is the car smoking out the tail pipe or in the engine compartment.
Again smell the smoke, if coolant would smell sweet. |
