LED Lighting

DIY Cost – $2-$60

Professional Cost – $20-$40+

Skill Level – Easy; installation requires a flat head screwdriver.

Interior LEDs are the best way to liven up the cabin of your Toyota Camry. Choose from a traditional white bulb, or think outside of the design box and go for a bold blue color, which is sure to deliver eye-popping illumination day or night. Fairly inexpensive LED lights are available online, starting for as little as $2 to $3. However, for most top-of-the-line LED dome and map lights on the market, prices can skyrocket to $60. Recommended for drivers who want to change the lighting in their Camry.

Floor Mats

DIY Cost – $100

Professional Cost – $0

Skill Level – Easy; simply install as directed.

Considered the most "rugged" upgrade around, all-weather floor mats protect your vehicle from salt, mud, water, and snow, which can become trapped on the bottom of your shoes and dragged into your vehicle. WeatherTech is the go-to brand for Toyota Camry owners. Customers appreciate the fact that the company offers a 3-year warranty against faulty products or poor workmanship on all of its floor mats. Recommended for drivers who want a new look while keeping their floors clean.

Interior Trim/Dash Kits

DIY Cost – $15+

Professional Cost – $400-$600

Skill Level – Easy; simply peel and stick the trim.

Dash trim kits are easy to install; however, if you don't install them correctly, they won't have that professional finish you're looking for. It's recommended that you make adjustments, as needed, such as trimming the kit's trim pieces to fit your console and door handles. Wood, carbon, and aluminum dashboard kits are all available for all Toyota Camry models and years. This interior modification is the easiest way to achieve a more luxurious feel and look, making your drive a little more comforting and less boring. Recommended for drivers who want different options.

Seats and Seat Covers

DIY Cost – $350-$400+

Professional Cost – $800-$1,500+

Skill Level – Easy/Moderate; it could be as simple as covering the seats, or it could be bolting on new ones.

New seats are the most expensive way to leave your original manufacturer equipment (OEM) seats behind, and step into a new arena of style as well as comfort. Your main options is leather seats, which could run you from $150 up to $550 per seat. (For power seats, unless you have experience with electrical wiring, it's recommended that you have a dealer upgrade your vehicle.)

However, if you don't want to shell out the big bucks on leather seats, your next best bet is seat covers, which are available in sheepskin as well as a wide range of custom materials and colors.

If you wish to stick to factory seats and seat covers, it's recommended that you make your purchase(s) through an auto parts store that is credible and offers a solid warranty for defective products. Recommended for drivers who want to change their stock seats.
