1993 Camry won't start
So, I "did-it-myself" and replaced a head gasket on my 1993 Camry.
It was running fine, just leaking a little oil into the coolant. I cleaned everything and put it back together. Now it won't start. It sounds like it is spinning VERY freely. Its not a normal cranking sound, its more like a whirring. I am getting spark (at least to #4) and there is gas coming from injector 4 (when I pulled it out). I think it must be something easy but haven't found any loose connectors or missing vacuum lines. Is there something special to do following a battery disconnection before the car will start? Thanks in advance. Redtree |
The engine should start after battery reconnect without issues.
If it has spark and fuel suggest you start by rechecking the cam/crank pulley alignment. |
