5 hp compressor, 60 gallon - What type of compressor hose do you use?

Looking for 100 feet, 3/8 and rubber Goodyear but can be a struggle with it but has good qualities. There are synthetics, hybrids but worried of burst and wear and tear. Your thoughts for you large compressor guys?

Not a mechanic but want something I can count on.

I use Parker Push Lok 801-6 (3/8 inch) which is a synthetic. Bought it used 20+ years ago and its still OK today. Its industrial quality!

Goodyear Instagrip is supposed to be about the same.

If wanting someone for higher pressure and temps might look at Parker Push Lok Plus 836.

Reply Thanks Will check it out.

I was also wondering why are some hoses 250 psi and some 300 psi. Who needs this high pressure? The 250 psi is cheaper.

Could be because the hose can also be used for hydraulic oil which can have have pressures.
