Rear Control Arm Help.

2 Attachment(s)
Hey there, I'm new to this forum and was introduced to it by a friend. I recently purchased a 98 camry and had the drivers side rear lower control arm snap on me. I've gotten all but one of the bolts off to remove the old one and this last bolt has me stumped. I've taken an impact wrench to it, soaked it in pb blast. Any help on how to get it off would be appreciated!

Do you know anyone with a torch, if so heat the knuckle where the bolt installs and the area behind the head.

Impact wrenches can at times have varying degrees of success. Try using a 1/2 inch driver, 6 point impact socket and large breaker bar. Or even larger size drive.

Is this unit still on the car, if so take it off via the suspension arms and work on it the bench when installed in a vice.

If all else fails might cut the bolt head off to remove the arm and use a pipe wrench on the bolt shank. Sometimes cutting the head off removes the bolt tension and the bolt now rotates.
