Please Help: TPS adjustment on 1999 Camry 2.2L
Hi everyone,
I stumbled on this forum while looking for some information adjusting the TPS on my '99 Camry 2.2L. First off, allow me to apologize if my questions are confusing, as I am a laymen when it comes to the terminology. So I recently got a check engine light on my gauge cluster that read as a bad TPS sensor (which I replaced). I have searched the internet high an low, and cannot for the life of me find: 1. A diagram showing which connector pins on the TPS (3-pin) I should be testing 2. What the Volt/Ohm output I should be setting the TPS at (in other words what the normal reading I should be shooting for while the car is idling) I am hoping that the issues Im experiencing (searching for gears, surging, lack of power, etc.) will be remedied by a correct adjustment of the TPS. If any one of the gurus here could help me out it would be very much appreciated!! Thanks in advance for your help! |
