2JZ-GTTE swap

I have a 1995 camry LE wit the 2.2L and it has a lot of miles on it and i want something with some power. Would the 2JZ-GTTE motor and if not do you have any other engines in mind that mite work?

Thanks
Ted

The 2JZ-GTE is an inline 6 cylinder used in rear wheel drives cars.

You can turbo a 5S-FE or make up something like a 5SGTE.

Either would be costly to do but the turbo would be less rare.

How about using a 3SGTE motor. I was reading somewhere that these could almost just bolt right into a camry. If this true and what generation do I need or are the 3sgte engines all the same?

The link below has info on this engine. It will bolt up to the engine. The 3S-FE was used in Camry before the larger 5S-FE and should fit into the Camry.

You will need another computer, harness, etc.

Thanks for the help.

Alrite sorry about all of this. One last question cause i just want to make this as easy as I can. Would a 94-96 1MZ-FE V6 and auto trans fit in with no real big adjustments needed? And if so what things would I need to do?
